New vortech drysides do not work with old drivers

Just a heads up when ordering a new dryside for your ecosmart driver for all vortech pumps. The new dry sides will not work. You have to call and specifically ask for the ecosmart dryside. I just went through this issue because their site just has one option for dryside so I thought they were interchangable. Just thought I'd let everyone know to prevent the headache. Ecotech customer service was amazing as always though.

Yes, true. In the case of the MP10 they actually don't have anymore of the old drysides, so you also have to upgrade the driver.

They are sending me an old style dryside so they have old style drysides for the mp10 but they don't sell them on their site.

That's not what they told me. Worked out ok since they ended a up sending me the QD driver for no charge

Well hopefully they won't send me another quiet drive dry side. I guess I'll find out in a few days. I really wish they had more info on their site on what's compatible with what.

I got the shipment from vortech and it was the old dryside. So they do sell both old and new style drysides.

Well that is crappy of them.. They REALLY should be consistent..

I had to replace my MP10 dryside and they charged me 1/2 price for a replacement QD driver...

I suppose I may have misunderstood. Perhaps they meant they didn't have any at the time. Like I said it worked out ok as they sent me a new driver FoC. I guess the point is to make sure to ask
