I'm just suggesting that it be protected from direct contact with salt water in some way. This could easily be done after purchase as well, but I was just trying to help improve the design.
Yes, a bar of G90 takes 20 years to corrode completely, but we're talking about a very thin piece of metal that makes up a major moving part of the unit. IMO it's only wise to protect the piece that is most likely to fail as best you can.
