cool Dave. I'd suggest canon, lens are cheaper than for Nikon. I'd say T1i or a used 40d would be great.

I think Jim is talking about the on in pic three. The t2i is a great camera. Not sure how into photography you are since I don't talk to you every day any more, lol, but If you are getting into photography I would suggest a used 40D. It is a full frame sensor rather than the crop body 1.6X that the T2i is. This camera will give you a closer picture to the actually lens size. Ex. if you use a 20mm lens on the 40d it is 20mm like a regular 35mm camera, but on a crop body it is 32mm cutting off the outer edge of the viewing.

But if it is just going to be a fun hobby and you don't have an HD camcorder I'd go with the T2i. . I've seen some really nice video shots from the T1i so the T2i could only be better due to the more fps on highest HD.

Thanks for the info Vince. I read that about the cheaper DSLR's. I have been looking at the t1i which is somewhat cheaper and the XS which is much cheaper. I'm not going to be a professional so either of those will meet my needs. And ya I really miss busting your A$$ man and now I just have Gary to bust on lol. Poor guy lmao.

Hey Dave!! My Z's & P's are getting better & better. I got a few higher end polyps at the ABC swap (Darth Mauls, Purple Hornets, Magicians, Purple Hooters). Right now I have around 20 frags ready to go & the rest I am growing out. I am always looking for trades if you have anything. Take care. Mike

Sweet acan garden Dave! I've always loved those corals but I have never had much luck with them. I don't think they like my 10k halide lighting. Its the only coral i've ever been challenged by. I may switch to a bluer spectrum just to see how it goes. We'll see. keep it up!

Thanks Jerry. Ya I'm still running 175 watt XM 10K's as well. I will be switching to 250 watt 20K Radiums with VHO actinics soon.

Sorry Hiltonc57 most are just that frags I have just bought sorry. The other thing is I’m not sure if I will be able to make it yet. I will post on the swap thread when I figure things out with corals I will have for sale or trade and I will have a few. And if I do make it the only fragible acans I have are reds in picture 4 all the way to the back and some green ones same pattern not pictured.
