i am going to keep some zoanthids in my 35 gallon hex i bought from coralfanatics.com i have a lighting question. how many watts per gallon is necessary to keep zoanthids. i am not concerned about them growing fast. actually i would prefer them not to grow too fast. im just lookin for them to keep their color and not die. i bought some that were brownish with greenish/bluish centers. i plan to keep them closer to the surface of the tank and i also plan to follow the "dip" proceedure in this forum. thanks for your help.

Low light 2 to3 watts is fine... Used atinic and blue lighting for color enhancing easy on the white lights.... Thats what works for me....

Similar Question...........I have a 135 with two 250watt MH fixtures and 20K bulbs in it. I have the fixtures over both ends with an area in between about two feet wide that gets much less light. It's not dark but its got more shade....is this a good area for zoanthids ?
