Newbie with 6105 question

Thinking about getting a Tunze 6105 and I have a few questions....I see that the flow rate is about 800 to 3400 gph.....how is this adjusted? Is a controller needed to use this functionality? Is the 6125 one steady rate, non adjustable? If so, can the 6125 be adjusted with a controller?

I don't have a controller right now, and the most flow I have ever had is a modded MJ-1200.....Thanks in advance, look forward to learning more about these powerheads.

It is adjusted via a jumper and a dial on the junction box provided with the pump. The voltage jumper gives you a low and high speed range depending on which chosen. Witht he 12v jumper it is 528 to 1849gph, and with the 18v it is 792 too 3434gph. Then the dial lets you pick a speed inbetween. When you use a controller you then set the pump to 100% on the dial using the chosen jumper and the controller then sets the percentages and timing of the intervals

The 6125 is a non-nontrollable, non-adjustable AC pump

Thank you very much!

I should make sure I made clear in my post without a controller the 6105 will only run at one selected speed

Right, whatever speed I choose through the jumper/dial....couldn't find any info on that in their owners manual online....

With a controller I could program different speeds for day, night, feeding, etc.....correct?
