NewDosing Pump Setup

Yes definately polyp extension and a little color. It's too early to say all have colored up a bit just a week, but several have.

I know my tank responds more favorably with the calrx. Probably due to the added bonus of trace element dosing you get with dissolving dead coral skeletons....

Also - I believe the 2 parts are meant to be dosed in equal amounts based on alk. You may wanna try matching the cal dosing amount wit the alk once you get it dialed in.

I know that it's not always the case, but I believe is considered ideal with almost All 2 part systems. Just food for thought.

Sean thanks for the info I just ordered the Soda Ash from BRS. My first container was made with Baking soda so that may be where the difference came in. I will use the BRS soda Ash for the next batch and that may dial it right in. Don't worry Im keeping my Ca Reactor and will consult you before going back to it.

Mike,

So you are running 4 dosing pumps the 3 for the AquaForest 123 and one for Kalk? If I end up do the balling metod the Litermeter III can run up to 4 pumps the one in main unit and 3 more. What dosing pumps do you use?

Sorry, no I only use 3 pumps since the program only uses 3 containers. My kalk is dosed through my ato. I use the new aquamedic pumps...they are OK. No issues with them in the 6 months I've used them.
