Through a LFS. The wholesaler just brought 2 in on sale.

Awesome fish; kept one successfully a few years ago. Ate all my zoanthids though (majanos also).

So far so good. Not eating on first day. Will try for day 2 tonight. My yellow tang was pretty ****ed with the introduction but seems to be better now.

I picked up a little bit smaller red sea regal at the first of the year. It was very shy about eating. But it got very bold when I put the Reef Nutrition Oto Marine pellets in the tank. It's still a shy fish but now goes after most food added to the tank.

How long did it take to begin eating?

It stayed hidden in the rock work (which I have a bunch of) for about a week. Lots of food went in the tank but it just didn't come out or notice when it was out.

And when I say the fish came out. It would come out around a small rock and then head back into the rock work.

Even not after almost 3 months I see the Regal out when I stay away from the tank (watching it on webcam) but will only come out when food goes in the tank if I am watching. It still doesn't compete with the other fish (100+) for food. But when certain pellets or live brine goes in it feeds well away from the other fish.
