I have had my chihuahua for 6 years and still just call her puppy. She has a name but I like puppy better, sometimes I'll change it up to "little dog" just so she doesn't get bored... :)

He is super cute! Yorkie has long been my choice for my next dog. I understand they are a little difficult to potty train but I don't have any experience that that my not be true.

Will the little guy be hanging out at your shop? I would love to see him.

Val...Bailey and Kahlua. Very cute! Lots of great suggestions! Yes, he'll be in the shop! Seems to be doing very well with the potty training so far. I'll let you know how that goes. I"m going to get in touch with the trainer I use. He's excellent and I"ll see what he suggests and let you know. He's definitely more of a challenge than Bailey was just being so small. But he's definitely a welcome addition. Thanks all. Now, to just to zero in on the name!
 
I see what you mean about D.O.G., does sound cool when you say it fast. I'm leaning towards something nautical, although Kahlua sounds Hawaiian so that's definitely up in the top 10!
 
If you want Hawaiian you coul go with Humuhumunukunukuapooahah. Hawaii's state fish commonly known as picaso trigger fish or humu trigger fish. Means fish with a pig like nose. spelling might be a little off its been 10 years since I learned hawaiian.

Oh, no! Another great one! Monti! I am polling folks as they come into the store. Very funny how things are progressing.
Most women (about 75%) LOVE Guppy
Women under about 25 Years old (about 20%) vote Kahlua
Men don't like Guppy..it's a male dog and they think it's too sissy.
The majority of guys like Kahlua (about 35%)
or Seabiscuit (nicknamed Biscuit) at about 20%
with other very masculine names (Hercules, Killer, etc.) about 10%
Shark Bait is another favorite with guys, (about 20%)
But Monti is pretty cool. I'm going to add that to the mix. This dog may never get named! But it's sure fun! BTW, Don...so cute! I'll try to get some more pics asap. I think Tom will divorce me if I get him a swing...he already thinks I've lost my senses with the little shirt, hat and PJ's I've bought him. ;)
 
I really like Shark Bait but you would never say the whole thing so for short he would become Shark/Sharky or Bait which isn't as funny.

I love Squirt, every little boy has been called Squirt by somebody at some point. Although you can't go wrong with Monti or Kaluha either.

Man you have a tough decision to make!
