I acquired it via my friend as the Clarion was attacking every single little fishes in his tank including his Conspicuous...
Here is my 8' in-wall 500G+ FOT, sorry about the picture quality and those silly figures on top of the cabinet (they belong to my 7 years old girl)...
It is indeed a beautiful fish and I do hope you have better luck than me.
Mine is a pitbull !!!! Every fish I introduce is bullied.....
If he continues with this type of agressive behaviour I guess I will have to sell it....

The Emperor was about 11"... this one accepted pallets & frozen with no problem at all.
The Clarion, after 2 days in her jail, I released it last night and no particular threat from her tank-mates but the 8" Blue angel. The Blue angel was chasing her in a circle last night but the Clarion is a faster swimmer
... tank is big enough for them to have a race ..
The chasing has stopped since this afternoon and I guess the Clarion is settling down in this new tank. BTW, it is eating like pig... hardy fish!!

Pairs or even trios of emperors are common in HK.
the special thing here that is is a a xmas island emperor that would cost in HK even more than in USA.
I like that Clarion, I wonder if it colored up in the aquarium , shops would never miss a hybrid in HK, as it is the best hybrid market in the world, better than Japan.
