Well Ive had my baby blue regal in qt for almost 3 months now and 2.5 months of it he spent it in hypo and he still has ich. I changed water every 3 days and used a refractor. I had great success with hypo before until now. Fustrated, i want to try another treatment. I want they guy to get better so he can finally go into his home. So what do you guys recommend?
Is there another solution besides having to do copper?

Copper, hyposalinity, and tank transfer are the only proven treatments. But, are you sure it has ich and not something else?

There are many treatments, none as effective as copper.
The second best treatment is Quinicrine hydrosulfate which is a malaria drug and hard to get in the US.
Copper is the best, most available and maybe the safest. Most (but not all) of the fish you buy are in copper treated tanks.

im pretty sure its ich..what else could be little white specs?
I guess Ill go and try the copper route

There are a few other parasites and diseases that cause white spots. I would think after 2.5 months in hypo your Tang would be cured ...Was your S.G. at 1.009?

Check out the meds on seachems site. Alot of people say they work. Focus, and metronidazole.

Good Luck!!!
