Turn the flash off,

I have a picture without the flash. Even worse. Buy a new camera is more like it or find a tripod at least. :)

You are very brave adding fish without quarantining. I could never get by doing that.

Quarantining is a great practice. However, I wonder if we took a poll how many people have a tank setup for that. I am guessing I am in the sad MAJORITY. Now that I have the fish room, I'll look to pick up a cheap tank for that purpose.

No such thing as a cheap tank IMO. If you do a freshwater dip b4 you add fish you have a better chance of not having problems. You can do this without an extra tank and when done properly Is harmless to the fish!

Knock on wood, I have never quarantined anything.... Never had any issues. This is a pic of one of my old tanks and the fish, there are about 10 more that are not in the photo, but never quarantined any of them when I add them. The Sohol tang I had for 5 years.

Thx for the support. :) Goes without saying, that Sohol is beautiful.

Please don't take my comment in a negative form. Whatever works for you. Me personally? I have very bad luck with fish especially the ones I have bought from a certain LFS that I will not name.

I prefer to take my chances with quarantine. Example. I currently have a very very nice solar wrasse and a ok looking carpenters flasher in quarantine. They were healthy as all get out for 3 weeks and Bam!!!! Major ich and thought I was going to lose them both. Started copper treatment immediately (as they were already in the tank) and they are back in good shape. The copper gets removed in a day or two and then I treat for internal parasites and flukes and into the display they go. Then it is time for some lyretail anthias me thinks :)

CeeGee, I completely understand.

Lyretail Anthias... I'd like to add some of those as well. I am wondering if I should try to add 2 more female Bartletts if I can. Seems like with enough of them, you can possibly prevent them from going all male. I'll see how these three do over the next few weeks and then look to adding more of some type of Anthias.

I have 4 Lyretails and only one is a male... He makes sure that the others stay females... ;) I also have a pair of Bimaculatus in there too... You could say I'm a big Anthia fan... :D
