Any chance you could post the article and site here? (I won't tell anyone I promise!)

I built my Sump yesterday. Stripped the old tank of it's old silicone and cleaned it (took 2 hours). I then resealed it and siliconed the baffles into place.
Here is a diagram of how it will be set up. The intake portion will house the skimmer. The optimal water level according to the manufacturer is 8 inches for the skimmer to be submerged. I wanted my water level to be approx 12 inches for the Refugium and return section. I made the water level in the skimmer section 12 inches as well and I will have it sitting on a 4 inch platform which i will create using PVC pipe.
The water then will go through the bubble trap into my Refugium . I will likely have a 1-2 inch sand bed with live rock and cheato (Notice the fantastic coraline growth on the live rocks in the photo).
The water will then make it's way into the return section. This is where it will meet the Phosban 150 and the Mag 7 return pump.
Feel free to make any comments about my diagram. It is already built and I will test it tomorrow to see if I fudged it up or not. The silicone job looked pretty good tho (in my newb opinion)

Ok, soooooooooooo... my tank, Sump , skimmer, phosban reactor, etc are all up and running! I filled the tank and mixed the salt right in it with the Koralia's running. After 2 days.. the water went cloudy and there is a white residue everywhere in the tank. It has been approximately 4 days and it has not yet cleared up. I just got my skimmer running yesterday so I don't know if that will help clear things up or not.
Any advice would be GREAT. There is only sand in the tank at this point. No rocks or fishes, etc..
