Nikon D-100

I have a chance to get a nikon d-100 with a macro lens for 175 bucks in great shape However im not very knowlegable as far as cameras go does anyone know if this would be a good buy it appears to be a pretty good camera I think its little dated though.

Well considering that the D50 still sells for $375 and that is just the body only I would say YES for sure that is an awesome deal. I have seen the 100's sell for about 400 used typically with 1 lens.

If you don't buy It I will

Its from a local photagrapher , he just upgraded to a d-3. It works I just dont know how to use it.

Here is where you can download the guide from Nikon. You really should read it over. It can be very frustrating seeing other people snap awesome pics aonly to have yours blurred or lighting be off. The manual helped me a tremendous amount when I bought my olympus recently. The download is about 16mb.
