Nikon D200 help

ok my wife picked up a borrowed nikon d200 and meant to set the auto timer wheel under the "3 kings" button, she roated the 3 kings button instead, now the ISO, WB, and QUAL buttons won't work. any ideas?

There is no auto timer wheel, do you mean she was changing the shooting mode from say single exposure to the timer mode?

yes, she was trying to set the timer and roated the ISO/QUAL/WB button as if it were a dial. (3 kings=WB/ISO/Qual) Now those 3 functions do not work. any suggestions.

Resetting the camera might help solve it still it's better to know what happened exactly.

tried the reset and removing bettery..... The button has a top and and dial underneath. There is a lock button and the bottom disk rotates to select shooting options.... Instead of turning the bottom dial she roated the housing that contains the 3 top buttons (its not made to rotate)

Probably twisted the connections off. Time to take it to the shop and bite your lip when they give you the bill.

Definitely sounds like a trip to the shop is in order (or you may want to look into sending it to Nikon)

made the trip, who knew a Nikon Tech had a shop 2 blocks from my house.... He think i twisted the connections off or ripped up the little circuit card. So its either a whole new top section of the camera if he can't get the itty bitty parts needed.

Either way it's gonna be costly. That had to be some strength to twist that housing. Not an easy task. I'd be curious to know how bad the pain is when you find out.
