No Bubbles on my BTA

I have a Rose BTA that seems to be healthy and growing well, but its bubble tips have been absent for about a year and a half now. What does this mean? Is there anything that I can change about the conditions to make the bubble tips come back?

i read some where that the tend not to bubble when they are happy and healthy, i dont know how much truth to that there is other than the fact that i have had roses for 3 years tons of splits and they have never bubbled
