No other lighting options?

Why are the only lighting options considered Ecotech, AI, Pacific Sun, Mitras.. I use these as from what I read to be the big 4 as led options go. I see so many threads with these options only for SPS and most others as subpar. I have just recently started dabbling in SPS. I run 4 onyx dimmable units and my sps is growing like weeds.. I did come from MH and had all LPS.
I read countless hours worth of material on led's till I was blind.. Of course my LPS are thriving but my SPS is also thriving. My oldest piece is an A. abrolhosensis. I have some 3 week old frags already showing growth. My pocillopora is showing great growth in a just over a month. I suppose I am just wondering why only the most expensive are the cat's meow and the rest not so much. Here are a few pics to show growth.

I have no prior photo when this was smaller but you can see it is thriving. It was my first piece.

I just think you've missed some posts over time. I've seen some nice orphek, kessil, maxspect, buildmyled, and diy tanks (and of course, the great chinese light debate). I think radion/ghl/pacific sun are recommended highly because of the individual color channel control. There are quite a few good options out there though.

I have read some across time but there is so many to cover. I suppose my point is I like most ohter reefers spare no expense when it comes to my reef but the most expensive is not always the best..

LOL I spared lots of expenses . I've jumped on board the china boat. But I do agree that just a handful of brands get most of the attention.

I don't own a Reef Breeders fixture. But I own 3 fixtures made in China and I'd match them up against most any other fixture out there in terms of build quality and light quality, and probably a less than half the price. But feel free to spare no expense. It's your money. I was just trying to help.

NO, That is my point exactly. I went with rapid onyx instead of spending a fortune. They only cost me half of the "big name" units and I got 4 of them.
