No3 and sps

Could an ultra low nutrient environment cause a complete halt in growth? It seems over the last year since adding b/p my sps has halted growth, coralline on the other hand gets weekly razord off. 495 cal 10kh 1480mg 0 no3, 0 phos

Yes, if you are using biopellets and are low nutrient, you need to feed your SPS and add amino acids or they'll starve. And not grow as you are seeing

Don't stop the biopellets if they're bringing nutrients down! I know in my zeovit system that it can really really bring nutrients down in a hurry. How many fish do you have? I have to dose Zeovit Amino Acids or else all my SPS would definitely die. There is definitely a fine line. What do you feed your corals now?
