Noise from wavebox

Hi there,

Is there something wrong with my wavebox ?

The wavebox has been installed for a couple of month now, and now there is comming af very high clonk/click noise from it.

I thougt i was because of dirt, so i cleaned it. I cant see anything on the impeller and nothing looks like it's broken.

But the noise is still there!

What is wrong with it ?

Regards

Occasionally they do make some noise in my experience after 2 months of use the noise was down to a click every five minutes or so. After about 3 months it rarely clicks. I suspect a part is not properly installed or air is inside the pump. I would go through the pump parts and make sure they are all their and fully inserted and look like they do in the manual. Install the drive unit under water to get rid of any air.

That was what i did, when i cleaned til drive. Any yes, i also installed the drive under the water !

But it didn't solve the the problem :-(

I am sorry but I have no other ideas, are you sure that the upper bearing is not sticking to the magnetic rotor, the brakes are not worn, the bush bearing is fully inserted, and the cooling port in the center of the magnet is clean. Also is the tiny red oring that goes between the prop shaft and the magnetic rotor in place. These are the only possible causes, one of them has to be bad. Beyond this it needs to go in to the factory to be looked at.

Thanks for the quick respond on my questions.

Im going to disassemble the drive again, and hopefully find the souce for the anoying sound !

Btw. a great product if the noise disapears

I couldnÃ"šÃ‚´t find the source, so i got a new wavebox, and going to send the defective one to the factory.
