Non-anemone host for Ocellaris Clownfish?

Hi all,

I have a 28 gallon SPS tank, and I just picked up a small pair of Ocellaris clownfish. I would like to find something for them to host in, but I cannot get an anemone. I do not want to run the risk of a wandering nem stinging and killing my SPS.

So, is there something else that you could suggest that has a good chance of the clownfish taking a liking? Perhaps some sort of tentacled coral, or torch/ hammer / bubble coral? Something that the clowns will like, but that will stay in place on the sand or on a low down rock.

Thanks,
Marc

What about a toadstool leather of some kind? I hope to get a decent sized one for my clowns to host since a carpet is just too big for me.

I picked up a few heads of Duncans today from my LFS (Ocean Gallery in NJ). He had a big head of it and was nice enough to frag it for me. I will let you guys know if the clowns take to it. Thanks for the help!

frogspawn, I would say mushrooms, but they tend to spread like wild fire and are a nightmare for sps tanks. I know from experience
