Noob mistake... Help

I mixed an ocellaris and a true percula clownfish and now they are fighting like crazy. Should I take it back tomorrow or will they eventually get along?

They aren't fighting because you mixed them. Odds are they are both female or something. How big are they?

One is a little smaller than the other maybe 2" for one and 1.5" for the other.

I turned the lights off and they calmed down. The clown that I had is sitting in the candy canes he hosts and the other is just swimming around.

Maybe they are okay now?

If they don't stop fighting, bring the smaller one back to the store and get the smallest one at the store. Ocellaris and Percula mix is not a problem. I got a bunch of Percullarist babies.

Ok thanks, they seem to have stopped for now. One is on the left side and the other on the right. I'll keep an eye on them.

Yes that's a good idea.

If they stop fighting, you don't have to do it. If they continue to fight then change the smaller one to even a tiny one is a good idea. The larger the size diffrent, the quicker the smaller clown capitulate.
