After 4 years of listening to all you Naysayer's it is time to eat some crow....errr, I mean pizza:D

Date: Wednesday, November 14th

We can meet at Gateway Aquatics on Telegraph Road between 6:30-7:30, then drive about 2 miles south to my house for a freshwater tank tour. The tanks and room aren't all the way completed yet, but there is water running and you will get a general idea:D The skimmer will be here in person too:cool:

I will get several tasty pizza pies from That'sa Nice'a Pizza and have soda and beer available as well.

Look forward to showing off the progress to date for those that want a killer pizza pie and a few brews.

Yep, you can register anytime anywhere. Glad you can make it!

Shoot, I can't make it :( I'll be driving down to Ft Knox for a Combatives Tournament. I really wanted to see this too, I saw the pics but I still don't believe it :)

Skimmer is here:eek2: :eek1: :eek2: I will finish putting it together this evening or tomorrow....it is amazing!!

Liverock coming from www.livestockusa.org on Thursday:D This is getting to be the best week I have had in a LONG time!

I think I will have to re-schedule this pizza night to another date, I still need to get my skimmer and have some more work to do on the basement. Let's do it a month or two down the road when there is saltwater and liverock in the tank.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you have to drain the fresh water or is it ro/di water in your tank? How much longer until you add saltwater to the tanks?

I still have to drain the tap water from the two tanks, but that doesn't take very long. Greg and I have to get these cabinet doors mounted and add trimwork before I add saltwater because all the drilling creates quite a bit of dust in the tanks.

I am going to cure the rock until mid-December in the stock tank and if it is cured to my satisfaction, I will get the big tanks full of saltwater. I do have a few purchases though before the tanks are fully operational the way intend them to be. I still need to buy some more pendants, vho retro kit, eheim calcium reactor feed pump, 500lbs of black sand, tunze magnets and conversion kits x 4 to convert to 6100's, Sequence Orca needlewheel, alita 40 airpump, 4 x175w mh bulbs, etc...

So, there are some things I need to get:D, but I am going to have SW in the tanks before years end.

Skimmer would be nice to see Dave.... But I think most really want to make sure you have water in your tank.

We can still meet up if people want to do so....I talked with Chad at GWA by PM, so he knows we were stopping by. My tanks are not done, so the final product and presentation with cabinetry are not done yet...and the tanks are running with freshwater...so, if anyone wants to see this phase and half a skimmer:D, we can still get together. Today was a bad day.

Alright, we're BACK ON for those that want to come over and see what there is to see:)
