Not slimy not cyano. But what?

It's only on my sand. I can suck it up with a turkey Baster but it comes right back. I had a cyano bloom last month and treated it with chemi. This is NOT the same. It's a brick red color. Some hair formation and some bubbles in the hair. But mostly just loose on the sand HELP!!!

Ty. I used chemi clean last night and it looked 50% better this morning- my my plate coral did not look happy

Sometimes it takes two doses. Are you aerating the tank as well? Chemiclean reduces the oxygen in your tank.

Second dose last night and water change today. I sucked up as much as I could with. Y siphon. Fingers crossed
