Not so free coral.

I just got some free coral yesterday. Some one in the area donated some coral to me, but when being removed i noticed some bristle worms on it. I've iso'ed the coral all night. Last night i picked 3 worms on it. I've looked over it twice since then and I haven't seen any. Do I isolate futher, or do you think it'll be ok to go into the tank. I know this might sound like a dumb post but my main question is it "once a bristle worm, always bristle worms?" or can it be safely rid of the hitchhickers?

bristleworms arent' all that bad.....

eat leftover foods, sand stirrers. not really wanted w/ seahorses though, but i have 4 tanks all have bristleworms. not so bad to have...

Some of us like our worms.

wow i didn't know bristle worms had such a following. lol. so i guess theres no luck for the coral. (someone suggested a freshwater dip as a last resort) we'll see how things turn out.
ps: are bristle worms inevitable?

Bristleworms are inevitable, the only time I hate them being in my tank is when I go to pick up a fallen rock and end up with a finger full of their ''bristles''. Ouch!

LOL, the worms will have no bearing on the health of the coral. They may clean up after it if it dies however.
