anyone have one of these?

I don't think that has individual reflectors on each bulb...if not it is a waste of money. You already have a hood, go reefgeek.com and retro that baby with some good individual reflectors.

"individual parabolic reflectors", now i get it. everyone talks about reflectors, one for each bulb is what i should be looking for right? i would prefer a fixture, that way i can move it out of the way when i need to.

intense lighting is great! it all comes down to: how do you get it in your tank? why by a corvette with a 4 cylinder when it performs best with a V8

reefgeek has those as well, it is the individual "w" shaped reflectors that let almost of the light from the bulb get down to the tank. Anything less is just capitalizing on T5 craze and taking money from people.

I have one and no it doesn't have individual reflectors. The fixture puts out a lot of light, but it could have been much better if they had used individual reflectors. I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t feel like it was a complete waste of money but if I would have done my research a little better I would have spent a little more and bought a Tek light.
