I don't have a pic but I found a little reddish nudibranch on my zoanthids last night in my 10g. I picked it off with a pair of tweesers and flushed it. I haven't seen any eggs. do they reproduce sexually or asexually? I tried to do a search but couldn't find squat and I know I have seen people talking about getting rid of them here. What do I do? I also have a huge variety of "bugs" all in this tank and they're all over my zoas making them close up.
detail description of nudibranch:
*it was about 1/4" long
*reddish pink on top w/ about 6 spikes
*white in color on the bottom

I am planning to put a rainfordi goby in my 10g and that's it. Will it help with some of my problem?

you can check out the nudis at zoaid.com...I would do a FW dip..I had the same problem, did a few dips, and haven't seen any since..

How do I do the FW dip? I think I read something about get FW and heat it up to about 150deg put your zoanthids in there for about 20 seconds and shake them to get the nudi's off. Is this right? I'm sorry about asking things that I know have been answered before but I was a little arrogant in thinking this could never happen to me. Any directions to doing dips would be greatly appreaciated.

i've never heard of heating the water up...i honestly don't know what to tell you about that...i just put mine in water that was a little cooler than my tank and let them sit for 5-10 min, then i would shake them to make sure everything was off...after a quick inspection i just put them back into the tank

thanks d9sccr :), oh by the way I think I did have a nudibranch that looked like on the zoaid.com but a differrent color. Is there a fish that eats these little buggers? Just curiouse on that.

there is, but i don't know what it's called...also, i don't think that it's guaranteed to work..

ahhh, thank you msman825. Thats exactly the info I was looking for I just couldn't find it with the search on here. Just a question but can someone post the process of dipping the zoanthinds up at the top of this forum? Maybe it would help people in the future with the same problem and from haveing to answer the same questions all the time.

Thanks
Will
