Nursing an RBTA back to good health..?*With Pictures*

So I got an RBTA from my friend and it is very bleached. I can still see some pink, but not the the deep red it should be. The tips are sticky and the mouth looks ok. How should I go about recovering it? I plan on spot feeding krill every other day, but what else should I do?

Just Make sure the lighting is good and feed about every 2 or 3 days. Id recommend feeding silversides. Any pics?

I have plenty of T5 lighting, it's acclimating currently.

I would feed silversides also. IMO it is the best food for anemones.

Well I only have frozen krill right now so I'll feed that until I get silver sides.

Well it ate some krill last night and now it is appearing to split. Due to stress I'm guessing? I'll get pictures later. There's a white line going through the body where I think it's splitting, but it hasn't reached the mouth yet..

Some pictures, it's pinker in real life and doesn't look as translucent, but I know it's bad. In one picture there's an area where I believe it might be splitting.

I don't see anything that looks like splitting. When they do that they shrivel up and tear themselves apart at the mouth. Definitely bleached. Just needs tlc and it will recover.

In person you can see a white line going up and down the foot so I thought it could be a split. We'll see..

IMO it looks like its splitting becuase its spreading the foot onto 2 rocks

that anemone is awesome...i like the color...but he should darken up...did your friend have it under weak lighting ???

It was under 250 watts of MH in a 65 gallon tank.
