Anyone had any recent interactions with NYAquatic? Emails I have sent recently have gone un-replied (I don't think I'm THAT annoying :lol.

the baby Redsea Regal is cute, just out of my price range. The $49 Purple Tangs are nice.

The tiny ones don't ship well at all, or at least the two times I have purchased one from him that size they didn't.

I have not had great luck with the small ones from the indo pacific either. But great luck with the ones from the indian ocean from LA and redsea from NYA. One thing I should of added was the indo pacific ones looked slim compared to the Indian Ocean/Red Sea

The two I got were the size of my thumb nail from the Indo pacific. The red sea one that was about 1-1.25" came in with swim bladder issue so it never stood a chance.

I will add that whomever is packing the fish/ managing the website, needs to learn how to use a tape measure.

First experience was an Indo Regal, ordered a 3”, received one the size of my thumb.

Second experience, ordered a Red Sea Regal, 3” again. This time is was over 6”. I called him and he picked up. He more or less laughed at me because I was complaining about receiving a bigger fish. Needless to say, he never ate anything but clams on the half shell. Was a beautiful fish and I felt horrible for taking that one out of the ocean.

He has great deals but you need to be prepared for the worst case scenario when ordering from him.

I got my Red Sea regal over a year ago from them and he has been a champ since day 1. I agree with previous posts about size description though. He was listed at 3" and came in closer to 5". I am ok with it as he was healthy and eating right away. I think he had some flukes but a round of prazi knocked that out immediately.
