Damn, Jarrett -- I mean really -- FOUR DAYS notice for a fairly important meeting. Sorry, but no way can I make it -- already have plans for Sunday

I would like to propose to the board that you guys get this club on a regular schedule like every other club I know of. Like, "3rd Sunday," or whatever, but just make it so we can mark our calendars well in advance, not 4 days before.

And, by the way, Face Book sucks; I never look at the club FB page. Ditto for the club web site.

I missed the one hour window to edit my last post.

I would like to ask what exactly does "election board" mean? Do you mean "election of officers?" If so, this isn't a fairly important meeting, it's a very important meeting since this will be the first ever election of officers by the membership of this club.

Everyone accepted the fact that Harry started the club and, rightly so, has been, and is, the club president; and, that the other officers (currently, only Jarrett and Stan) were appointed by Harry. If we are now to have a serious election, I'm just appalled at the fact that we are given four days notice of this meeting that will, in effect, chart the course of the club for the future.

George is right. I take the blame for the lack of organization. My time has been greatly divided.

This meeting's agenda is to develop a calendar for the year's events, have nominaions for ALL positions. The group is small and only the hardcore reefers attend regularly (so there are positions/jobs for everyone.) All ideas and suggestions will be disussed.

This is our club, let's ALL work together, and with our combined contributions we can make this club run well organized and fun!
