o ring

i just noticed the o ring to my coralife supper skimmer on the floor behind the tank, what does it do with out one? & how did it break and end up on the floor, when it was inside the cup i screwed on, or is that even the o ring at all? it was broke into,

thats what it looked like, can i buy one at kermetts or do i have to order it, is the skimmer ok with out it? whats it do?

it just helps it from leaking where the cup screws on

Teena the same thing happened to me a while back and I called ESU and told them about it and asked how to get another one and they sent me 2 free of charge....Do a search on Corallife and call the number you find there....they are really helpful.
