Any Oahu area Marine Tankers out there? I just arrived last week and went to the first fish store I could find. Yellow tangs were really cheap (heck they are locally caught...go figure). Must have been 200+ across the whole store.
Live rock seems to be an issue here, as the state gov does not want anything imported that could affect the local reefs. I did find one store in the phone book selling local rock via permit, but its $9 a lb.
If anyone is interested, I am planning to make my own rock. It's a little bit of work, but it's about $2 a lb in the long run.
