Ocean Floor Die Off

Talking to another reefer today and they told me that Ocean Floor lost everything after the power outage on Monday. Anybody know if that is true or not?

I would hope not. As much livestock as they have (salt water and fresh) I would think they would have some sort of back up for minimum water circulation during a power outage.

Now if that giant, probably poorly insulated old skating rink heated up too much, it is possible, I guess.

Here's to hoping it's not true.

The website is showing specials for this week which would suggest that they are fine. Just a little bit of a drive for me to go find out on a whim.

They update the site, and send out their coupons/specials emails every Friday, and I got one this morning. I imagine those are sent from their internet agency, so that may not mean anything, but I think it is another clue that it may not be entirely true. I certainly hope so.

I'm very glad to hear that they had the generator. I hate to think of any store losing livestock let alone an entire store's worth.

I guess this "other" reefer is going to lose all credibility on future info
