i have using boxed/bagged ocean water for my water changes.....doing 10% once a week & 20% once a month

i just want to check and make sure this methodwill work long term....any forseeable problems with this?

so far, it seems to be working out well

Where does one get bagged/boxed ocean water???

I know lots of people that buy natural SW from LFS. Seems OK to me. Personally I think it is more natural. I also use NSW every once in a while, when too lazy to mix.

Sounds expensive. One question I have, why does the new aquarium in Atlanta, (Staffed by lots of marine biologists), which is close to the Ocean still use Instant Ocean to fill their tanks? I would find out, there may be a reason they don't use NSW. Also it is important where the water was collected. I lived in Alaska for awhile. The water there is very high in Nitrates. This caused very large plankton blooms which is why the commercial fish like salmon and halibut are so numerous and big. I doubt that the water they sell comes from equatorial reefs. But I don't know. Just questions I would ask before I bought the stuff.

aquarium of the pacific uses them....that is a pretty good reference (i thought).....and they do reef conservation, the aquarium

i guess, i figured that was good enough....no?

Sounds like a good reference to me. Good luck. Sounds like a good water change schedule also.
