Oceanic Tech 120 & Stand Question

Who has this tank and stand?

Filling mine up now, and the stand just scares me. I'm probably being very paranoid because it's x2 the size of any prevous tank I've had, but still thought I'd check and get a bunch of reassurance from people before I stress out.

Its made to hold the aquarium .

They are not exactly overbuilt -, however I never had a problem with my AGA 90 with factory stand. I moved that tank/stand several times- never a problem/

Ya, the prebuilt stands are always kind of scary because they are basically just hollow with a support in the middle. You look at it and go, "this thing doesn't look like it could hold my weight let alone a full aquarium." Oceanic, along will all the other major brands probably paid an engineer a lot of money to find out how they can make their stands as cheap as possible, but able to hold more than enough weight. I wouldn't worry about it, but you can always add more support.

My AGA stands always feel/felt solid.
The Oceanic one wobbles. I don't like wobbles.

Wobbles? My Oceanic Tech 120 and stand were solid as a rock without water. And there was no change when it was filled. I have been running it for over a year with no issues.

have you tightened the stand up? there have been many folks who have complained about the quality of the stands, but I haven't heard of anyone saying their tank/stand came crashing down.
