oceans motion 4th

i spent my 4th repiping my main tank with the oceans motion 4 way. it turned out not to bad!!! i just wish i had done it to start with.heres a couple of pics......

I put some unions & ball valves on mine. I had to clean my 4-way already, when some sand got between the drum & the housing.
I can shut the water off in the closed loop, drain the pump, only spill a couple drops.

as everything is gravity fed it will drain to the tank and sump when i shut down. you did an excellent job with the limited space you had. i only have mine going for a couple of hours and am very happy with it. thanks

Everyone who's seen the OM 4-way in action, are just in AWWWW. I goofed & ran the 4-way right after adding some really fine sand to the new tank. Well after about a week the 4-way was making a cracking sound. That's what happens when the drum jams & the magnets slip past each other. They come apart really easy. Very nice design.

Gimme a call this week John, I have some more frags set off to the side for ya. I also wanna see you frag tanks set up and see this new OM set up in action before my vaca 8D. Nice plumbing job, it doesn't surprize me how clean it is looking at all the other plumbing on that system.

So I assume that you "teed" a line off of your sump return, right?

Ummm the equipment gathering..... I think I finally figured out how many bulkheads I need, just got to order them now. Other than that, I think that I'm set.
