I know in the FAQ it states that they don't really belong together, but i was just wondering if anyone has had the experience of having those two together?
I have seen pictures of a few ocellaris with a bta lately, but they were with large btas. Maybe thats the key to get an ocellaris to host a BTA?.. get a big one.
I think it all depends on the fish. I have 4 ocs, with 3 large gbtas, and only 1 of my clowns is hosting the anemones. It goes from one to the other. It may take awhile longer for the others.Hope this helps in confussing you some more. LOL
Yea you definitely confusing me more haha I just love how the ocellaris looks and a bubble tip thats why i was wondering because it seems from the facts they just don't work, but theres also people out there that it has worked for so i was just wondering.
I can't tell you how many posts I've seen of people frustrated that their occ sits next to a PH or veggie clip rather than their nem.
It can happen, but I wouldn't expect it.
Some put a pic of a clown in a nem trying to teach or trick it to happen, sometimes it works.
I got mine to host a bta by posting a pic. Took about a month. When I added another ocellaris he started hosting right away, obviously from the example the other one set. Now they will occasionally host the torch coral and whatever is in between the two btas.
