Hey guys i am about to go to my lfs and i just wanted to recover all of the info you guys have give my so:

-Ocellaris Clownfish aré peaceful but could be territorial.

-They aré reef safe and invetebrate safe.

-Minimum tank size is"œ10 gallons"

-Diet well i'm going to feed my flake food(Formula 1) and frozen food.

-They tend to be hardy

Is there anything else i should know please let me know!
THANKS

- More likely to be territorial in pairs.
- If buying a pair, try and get two juveniles of the same size out of a community tank or two that have already paired (female will be the larger of the two)
- Try to buy tank bred if you can. Note that there is a difference between tank bred and tank "raised".
- I know opinions vary but I would not have a pair of clowns in a 10 gallon and would want at least 20 (30 being even better). I know clowns tend to stay in one area but mine do like to explore throughout the day.

They are great fish IMO. Are you looking at orange and whites or black and whites?

That about covers it. You do understand they require salt water, not fresh, right? :)

Seriously, if we knew why you were asking we might offer more advice. There's a ton of information available online for these, from keeping to breeding to raising the larva. There are books dedicated to them (Get Wilkerson's first). And even PetCo has them for sale.

Actually just sold my pair of Ocellaris and I miss them already! If you get some really young ones I would feed them frozen spirulina enriched brine and a good quality marine flake food like formula or new life spectrum. Honestly they love flake and flake is an excellent staple for fish that will take it!
