you know what I think is funny? We are definitely a coral bunch. We have a month that is for fish pictures and the one that's in the lead (as of right now) is the one that's half covered with a coral.

It is a great picture.

I didn't submit the seahorse pic, by the way. ..Incase that has a bearing on whether it gets votes or not, lol. I hope not... :(

All of the pics are fantastic...really. The shot of the yellow tang with the corals is just so artistically wonderful. I don't know if the person who took that was just lucky or she/he has real talent for photography but it is a wonderful shot.

I am impressed with all of them. Who is going to do the presentation on how to photograph aquariums?

Tomorrow and a $250 a piece money sent to MEEEEEE!!!

Just kidding, the camera will hopefully be thrown together by the next meeting, at least in Rough Draft form... If not by then, then at least by the December meeting. Cost has been undecided, but should be pretty standard for a calendar.

And lastly, this calendar is going to rock. Our first years worth of POTM contest entries have been truely remarkable.... It is truely an honor to put this all together... :D

Well, I did it. I took a good long look at my wrasses butt, and sure enough, he's got a little heart too! That's one of the coolest things I've seen. (the little heart shape, not the butt). I tried my best to get a good close up photo of it, but he's faster than my camera finger. He's like a little rebel fish with a heart tatoo on his cheek. How cool is that!

Batman? How....? Where...? Why....? Ok, nevermind, I give up. So now instead of watching the game tomorrow, I will be up at Wet Pets looking at wrasse hiney. Thanks, Paul. ;-)

Probably it will be available for purchase sometime in late November. We can bring them to the COMAS meeting in December, or offer shipping for a modest shipping cost.

More details will follow! :)

Will somebody PLEASE post a picture of their six-line wrasses' butt of the heart, or batman? I think this post is bizarre and very funny. :) Whoever is going to go to the store and look at their butts, please don't tell the store keeper what you're looking for or you just might get some interesting looks!!

I want to see what you all are talking about...

Nevermind, I did the smart thing and clicked on the photo of the six-line wrasse and yep, there is definately a heart shape on its rear. How funny!

Now, though, I must be off to bed so I can make it through the day with 20 4-year-olds tomorrow...

nah, Steve already knows I am weird. He'd just laugh and as soon as he thought I wasn't looking, he'd do the same thing... hahaha

I won, but I won last month so the winner is the six line. Unless they don't want the GC, lol...
