October meeting announcement
Hello everyone,
For the month of October we are going to talk about diy projects.
We all like to have nice gadgets on our tanks. Some of us diy to keep down costs. I have been amazed at some of the diy projects I have seen over the years such as skimmers, calcium reactors, turf scrubbers, fluidized reactors, surge tanks,wave boxes, refugiums, frag tanks and stands.
During the meeting we are going to build a small diy led fixture at the meeting which involves assembling and soldering. At the end of the meeting we are going to raffle that fixture off as well as another kit which will be solderless. We will also have a couple other raffle items and encourage members to bring in frags and anything else they would like to donate.
We also would like for members to bring in any diy projects they have made themselves to show the club. If the devise is in use pictures are welcomed also. If someone would like to submit a picture through email they can submit it to:
