October meeting when and where

OPPPs..this is one I will have to miss...I am taking my mom to visit my sister in Northern Arkansas that weekend. I am sure I can find someone that will take notes for me or at least I will look for someone to do it ...

Honestly?

I just finally got around to gluing them to rocks (just) last night. I wanted to see them pop open, before I "stuck 'em on a rock"!

And I was going to give you all those Acan's too, but you had to be there.

Darn!
Well, I hate to see them homeless, so I'll set them up a place to stay.:p

Parking & food

Parking & food

My driveway is pretty long so feel free to park on the grass beside it so people can come and go.

Cindy said that she is going to try her hand at some good Santa Fe soup and some chili :smokin: . She is a pretty good cook - I think so anyway

I am fine. Rather complex surgery turned into moreso when they got in there. All from snorkeling accident while exiting the water in PR in July. Shoulder fine to cry on. Just let me know beforehand so I can put waterproof bandaids on. LOL. Stitches out Monday!!

When: Saturday October 18, 6pm
Where: 504 Lyndsey Drive, Brighton, TN

phone: 849-8507
We will do something for food.
My tank still has not finished cycling so please bring ideas with you.

See ya there,
Goibot

Tracy, besides "Ideas" (which are frankly cheap & prolific), what Else can we bring?

Everyone, Do not let the fact that it is in Brighton scare anyone away, this is not but a very pleasant drive just north of Memphis. Several differerent routes can be taken "although if quick is what you want the interstate is faster"

My wife sometimes gets aggravated at me as I never go somewhere the same way twice in a row, I like to have as many different experiences as I can. "But then again I think that might be why she married me"

Tracy, please let us all know what we need to bring!!

Can someone that is going to the meeting please take notes and make a list of attendees? I sure would appreciate it .

I hate to miss this one ,I really wanted to see those DIY rocks of yours close up Tracy...

I do kind of live in the country and it is a nice drive out here. But then again I am a country type person and sort of partial to it (as he pulls the hay from his hair).

The wife says we got everything we need ... Just come as you are.

Bill, I really did a job on my shoulder. SLAP lesion due to tear in labrum, which is cartlidge lining the shoulder socket. Also chipped the bone of the socket and the chip was surrounded by mangled cartlidge he planned to repair the labrum with. Also torn ligaments. Ortho just had to piece it all back together the best he could and put 4 stabilizers in He is guardingly optomistic it will heal. Therapy will be extensive and will not start until he is certain it has healed. My shoulder will be frozen. SOOOOOOOO, I probably will not be at the meeting. I am driving with one arm and have been sleeping in the recliner since Aug for comfort. I am still moving those 5 gallon buckets of water with my right arm. I am back ay work, though. Thanks for asking.

Never under-estimate the benefit of this feature:

"…….plumbed Water changes on the Fly".

Everybody should consider trying to incorporate this on your next Build. (I think its my favorite feature on my tank! It would require you to have a Salt Vat to feed your sump & some sort of Tank-to-Drain system.)

Feel better Vicki
