Many people have them. What were you looking at and what are you trying to skim? They are good skimmers.

I am somewhat confused. What does anyone do with a skimmer? They are trying to remove nutrients that may be harmful to marine life. I didn't realize there was such a specificity as to what is being skimmed. Do certain brands only skim certain things? Not trying to be rude but........If they do then someone please enlighten me.

Which one? The extremes, hurricones and a few others are really nice for the price.

He was asking what size of tank, not WHAT they wanted to skim out. I would have thought that was obvious....

I have a Nw150 on my 20g SPS tank, housed in the 10g sump. These skimmers are great, its absoulutly silent and it pulls allot of gunk out of the water. I would recomend these skimmers to anyone!

I used to run a stock NW150 and like it, it skimmed great on my 75g tank. I now run the 800S on my sumpless 50g breeder and it kicks A*S!

Best hob skimmer I have ever owned. Thats not saying much, as I used to have a Remora and it stunk....

I just put in the new DNW-200 last Friday. It does have a hurricone like shape to it. Here's what it looks like.

We have a Euro Skimmer that is rated for 100 gallons,it doesn't skim the way we heard it would,so we would like to up grade to a better skimmer but we don't want to pay $1000.00 for a bubble king skimmer,we heard the octopus brand is really good for the buck,our 150 gallon tank has a high density of fish,lots of zoo's and mushroom's,no stony's,we just want the water to be skimmed really good because of the fish....
