octopuss

ha...i know this sounds strange but a friend of mine had 2 tanks, one he had a blue ring, and the other was his reef....bout month or so after the tank was setup with the blue ring he started to notice that fish started to go missing with no sign.....he setup a webcam and caught the blue ring switching tanks for dinner.....yeah i was amazed to

i know this sounds strange but this one time at band camp i stuck a blue ring octopus in my ******

I know this sounds strange, but I have read things about that too. How close was that web cam to pick up a golf ball moving across the floor?

thats very common actually, and it's not unheard of for large octopus to climb out of there tank and across an entire room for dinner and return to there tank

I find it interesting that they return to their original tank. Almost as if they know they'll get in trouble.

The pacific gaint red has been seen doing this this all often in captivity. I do not see why smaller ones can't. This is a creature that will unscrew a cap to get to its food. Moving from tide pool to tide pool to find food and then going back to its home tidepool/ cave is what they do in the wild. I do not see why being in a home tank would stop them.
