Odd clown behavior (Video)

My clowns have decided to "host" on my power head. At 1st I thought the female was dead and stuck to the PH, I was wrong. I went to pull the body off and away she swam. I thought she must be weak and soon to be a floater, again I was wrong. Tonight I find the male decided to "host" on the PH along with his bride! At least 10 times tonight I have seen them stuck, side bt side, to the PH.

LOL...thats halarious. Im sure they will be fine since it doesnt seem to suck on them too hard. They seem strong enough to swim away whenever they want.

Ric, this is not going to end well. One morning you will wake up to a dead fish.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll pull the ph tonight. It started w/the female, but the male joined in!

Something is wrong with the clowns. They should not behave this way. May consider dipping them in fw or in medication. Better yet, quaranteen them and feed as much as they can eat. good luck.

they eat like pigs. Soon as I feed the tank they are right there eating as much as they can. I will be watching them.....

One of my Picasso will just lie on the bottom of the tank and not move. He eats like a pig until the hour before he died. I wish I had done more for him. Good luck.

lol funny video, Its hard to say if anything is "wrong" with your clowns, if it was just one clown acting funny then I would question it but you said now the other is doing the same thing which leads me to think it was a learned behavior, one thought it was nice so the other is now doing it, I would think cuddling up with a power head takes alot more effort than some might think, dont think a weak fish could do it, I also agree cuddling with a power head is probably not safe but very neat video

The clown is hosting the PH. Try to find it an anemone or coral or alternative. And turn the PH off. WEll just a suggestion :) My clowns have host in hair algae and rock crevice but never had any host in PH.

Man I'm glad my guys don't do that.......I would shriek like a little girl when I saw that

My guess is the clown is fine because clowns are weird like that sometimes. I would still pull the powerhead just to make sure nothing catastrophic happens to the clowns accidentally.

Update:

PH taken offline and the fish are fine, eat like pigs and look happy. There is still one PH (same make and model) that they stay away from.

All looks OK.
