Odd hole on my brain

I pull those suckers right out of the hole with a pair of forceps. They commonly bother tissues on elegance to the point that the coral dies, I'm sure it can be the same with a trachy, although the trachy can prob handle more stress than the elegance.

Thanks for the input coral eventually withered away. The skeleton hade ravines burrowed throughout. Extensive skeletal damage and a total of 4 crabs living in it.

I haven't done this yet...I don't have Revive or Bayer on hand...but the hole I have is really small, I doubt I could grab whatever little critter is in there.

Sorry to hear about your coral atrox

Thanks man, have you confirmed it's a gall crab? Find a small nail like a finishing nail and jab it in there. Keep in mind the crabs built holes that sometimes turned into the coral so poking straight back might miss it entirely. They will kill you're brain so do what's needed.

I can't tell what it is honestly..the hole/tunnel is pretty small and I can see something in there, not sure what.

I don't think the nail idea is going to work though as I don't really know what's under the flesh. The hole is in between folds of the brain...so I suspect I'm going to need a dip to make sure it's gone.

You can kind of see it in this pic.. Sorry I didn't have a chance to resize

Can't really tell...too much flesh around it..but from the looks of it...there is a tube like structure there..not sure where or how deep it goes.

Same thing happened to my brain coral, I feel your pain. I tried to physically remove the crab but ended up damaging the coral's tissue which later got infected. I'd dip it.

I just wanted to show you what happens if you don't get the Gall crab out. Notice the little pocket that was his home (upper left). He irritated the flesh and it was like a sweep hand moving counterclockwise watching it die.
