Odd little pods bouncing around my tank

So these guys are a little bigger than a salt crystal but last night I was looking (with lights off) and I started seeing these little round balls start floating drunkenly toward the flashlight beam. Very curious I grabbed by magnifying glass and put it up to the edge of the sandbed with the flashlight. Sure enough the little guys started smacking into the glass and sand there where I could see them.

They look like they have 2 huge eyes which reflect green/blue in the flashlight with a little curled tail that whips out and propels them around...under a magnifying lens they seem to have red stripes (the 'tails'). SO STRANGE! I couldn't help buy stare, there were HUNDREDS of them! At one point I put the flashlight beam on my Hammer coral and the little guys started moving toward it and...well, let's just say it got fed. (felt kinda bad for doing that actually)

They aren't your typical pod because they are drawn toward the light like a moth or something. I recently added a peppermint shrimp (could be shrimp fry?) and an eyelash Blenny to my tank.

I'd love to know if anyone else has seen this before. Sorry for not having any pics but they are too small to photo with any results, again, about the size of a large grain of salt.
