Odds of a Ocellaris breeding with a Perc?

I believe the fish i were told to both be Ocellaris are actually two different species. A Ocellaris and A Percula. My question is this. What are the odds of them breeding at a older age? I want my Clowns i have to breed. But is it much less likely they will breed since they are different species? Is it more likely? How likely?

Final question, what would they look like and be called if it has been done.

I don't have an exact % of how likely it would be, but I wouldn't think it would be too difficult, especially since it's been done before. They're called "percularis" usually and basically look just like an ocellaris or a percula. The exception to this is Sanjay's black ocellaris x onyx percula offspring, which are referred to as "Photon" clowns.

So if i understand correctly Chelsey, the offspring would still be considered a Percula? Maybe even with a slight morph to the patterns of the black and white? Even if the egg layer ends up being the Ocel? This is quite interesting. Is there more you can tell me about the offpspring?

Hybridization is very common in clownfishes, so chances are usually very good. My old female was breeding at 14+ years (no clue how old she actually was, since she was a wild-caught adult). The coloration will be highly dependent on the parents.

from what i understand from reading about mating, is that it has mostly to do with the male as to what the more dominate trait will be. im not %100 but i think i read that. if i am not correct, someone please correct me...nicely..
