Wow I'm glad I found this thread. I've got a lot of reading to do.

Just ordered a 30L from BRS and should be here right after Labor Day. I had major issues with my overflow on a Glasscages 50 gallon is the reason for the 30L. I tried to install my own overflow with silicone and so the IM takes over and fits right on the GC's 36" stand! whew

According to UPS, tank should be here Thurs. Wow, this week! I've got Mon off so have some time to set this up.

Reason I ask is I already have the osmo nano, used on sump. I heard can't pump up more that a few inches. I want to get the 3155 anyway for added security. I have this osmo nano here for ....

I have mine in the IM cabinet bottom and it easily pumps up to the tank 3+ feet.

Anyone have the CITR Pro In-Tank Refugium? It's 4.25" wide, would it fit? I don't know if that's with the hanger or not.

yeah, he said that's how some of them come out. He said I could of got it anodized, but it would of costed more. He said he would refund my money if I wanted to send it back. Overall, it's not a big deal, & you really won't see it.

When I got the box I was a little scared, it was really beat up.


A box within a box. It looked much better from here.


Here's the 30L IM on it's stand. The sump underneath went to the 50 and I'll probably sell it, I'm running out out of storage.

Hi everyone!

Glad to be a member of the IM community :wavehand: However, after viewing some of the pictures of the broken aquariums, I'm a little afraid.

It has been up for about 2 weeks.

So, I have the sr-120 stocked with the norms and I added:

3 vegas and a controller (love it)
Modified rails for the lights
60 # dry rock (now covered with brown algae and diatoms)
80 # live sand
Full size ghost skimmer
mini media reactor (with carbon)
2 socks
2 media baskets (with filter sheets)
Titanium heater (laying flat in the back)

I love this system. It is so easy to set-up and maintenance everything!

I am having some trouble with micro bubbles. I was looking through the thread, but it is lengthy and hoped someone might be able to help me.

If anyone sees something that I might improve, please let me know!
