Oh YEAH! Let the fun begin....

Sorry to hear about your fish, I hope the others make a speedy recovery. In the previous post, is the probe holder from Avast Marine?

Very nice Jeremy. I like the torch :p

Sorry that we could not hook up last weekend. I'll make a trip out that way again soon enough!

Thanks. The Copperband, Purple tang and the Flame wrasse are in a hospital tank for now. They still don't look great, so I'm crossing my fingers...

As for the probe holder, yes, that's from avast. It holds the water level sensor and top off line, as well as a spot for a probe.

It's amazing what that torch looks like with just the 24" LED strip I've got is on. It glows orange, but with the daylights on it looks more bland. It's a gem in disguise until the lights go down :D

Sorry to hear about your fish. I hope you don't work from home because if I sat at your desk I would be staring at the tank all day. Good luck with the qt.

Thanks. As it happens, I do work from home most of the time, and the tank is a mixed blessing there. Anyone who works from home knows the peril of distractions, and this one at least keeps me at my desk ;)

Looking great Buddy!

...it's almost like you have done this before??? :P

JEFF!!! Been too long. Hope all is well for you and yours...

Just a few times. I think this makes system 10 over 17 years, not counting the variety of refugiums, temporary holding systems and frag tanks. If I don't know what I'm doing by now, I never will...

OK, here's a video of the sump area and the tank itself as it stands today. The wiring is still a bit of a mess, and is temporarily strapped together for now. The skinning of the stand....well.....that'll be awhile before I get back to that.
You can see in the video of the small tank in the sump on a stand. That is where the fuge drops into the small tank, then spills over the sides into the sump. It was the best way that I could come up with on short notice to avoid the wonderful sound of splashing water in the sump. :)

Here's a new video update. Too bad the colors don't come out quite right, as things are starting to look good.

Added a couple of new fish fresh out of QT, but they were hiding at the time. The current list is:

Purple Tang
Juv. Chocolate Tang
Leopard wrasse
Mandarin

I'd like to add a couple more tangs, wrasses, and a pair of Perculas, but I'll have to wait until the budget allows...

just more inspiration to try harder. nice tank

Thank you.

Here's a couple of pics of the Leopard wrasse and the Chocolate Mimic Tang:
