Think of corrogated iron but with less and more pronounced depressions, running the length of the tank. A nice place for detritus to settle in. At the end of each one, a bulkhead leading to a manifold with a valve. Open the valve and the detritus just flows out of the tank as you do a water change.

That sounds sexy! Reminds me of Fudge's build with the portholes that give the perception of something more. I think the idea is fantastic, and to not have any bulkheads is pretty sweet.
