I wouldn't even try an Achilles in my tank. I love the way they look, but they are quite agressive as you already know.

MY BACK BITES. And I totally agree about fish personalities and how they are affected by the group dynamics. My PBT is a sweetheart. Really, my fish are all well behaved except for the maroon's extreme prejudice when it comes to me.![]()

damsels are mean as heck! and clowns are part of the family...who would have guessed??
Thanks Eric, and good to see you around. What's going on in your World?
I really should take some "attack" vids...but maybe everyone has seen that already. so many on youtube now, it seems kind of anti-climatic...I wish I had a vid of her tossing a large rock/coral. That is really the amazing thing.
She tossed a 8" x 6" wild colony plus the rock it was on a couple days ago, and the colony up an RTN'd yesterday. Seriously, that freakin' fish has killed another coral and I am so mad about it.Hence the mad smilie.
I now am the proud owner of one of those rare "white" corals.

Jeff, I designed that into my QT system. There is a line going from the display refugium through a gate valve, and to a float valve on the QT tank. When I want to acclimate I open the gate valve and remove water from the QT tank with a pitcher. Usually about 2 - 3 gallons per day.
This ensures that the only stress the fish endures during release into the display is social in nature. I feel it helps a new fish manage the stress better.
