One of 4 volunteers of this coral. I had originally fragged off some for Gabriel, then gave the parent colony to Steve Weast for his re-start. I figured what the heck...and here it is again!

And some coral that a fragment must have fallen between the reef and the back wall of the tank...it's growing on the bottom, and yes, that is a black molly! :D

Somehow I lost my subscription to this thread. Lots of nice new pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I see the kalkwasser testing is still going strong.

 Yeah, I think EVERYONE lost their subscription. I wonder how that could happen?

Anyway, yes, the "testing" is still going on and will for the foreseable future. I am thoroughly impressed with the TLF, although I do see a slight weakening in the curve right now.

I only wish I had the skill or even the equipment to take better pics, but it's not to be right now as I wallow in the misery of retail.

The pictures look good to me. A bit small for some reason. It comes down to color correction, which can be done in Photoshop. The subjects are in focus and framed well, so it comes down to color levels a bit of sharpening.

yeah, I am using fit-to-list, but it seems photobucket makes them even smaller for some reason. I try not to sharpen because I figure if the shot is not sharp enough as it is, I will be distorting too much when I do sharpen. I sometimes up the contrast a bit, but there again that changes the look too.

It really is a skill thing combined with an equipment deficit. I'll get it right one of these days! :D

I did too? I have not received any emails saying there were posts, especially pictures:D

Things look good J! The fish look fat and happy!

I dropped off the subscription list too!

Very nice coral shots J, you've got some real nice pieces there.

Your fish and aquascape look great. I love the OST!

... and did you slip a black tang in there?
